Seagate and Western Digital, getting in on Internet TV, too! Oh boy... Even disk drive mfg's are trying their hand at Internet TV devices and services. How crazy it that?. I wouldn't spend much time or energy watching their progress unless we see them going head to head with the likes of Cisco, Logitech, Microsoft, Roku, Sony and other brand name players in the media industry. Rupert Murdoch & News Corp up to their old tricks again? News Corp. agreed to make its TV shows available for rent for 99 cents per episode via the Apple TV device. Disney also went along with the pricing scheme. Viacom and NBC Universal all held out for now. Why would Rupert Murdoch who's made plenty of noise in the past about getting paid in full for quality content arrive at this outcome? Big Names are positioning to be the one that keeps taking our money. just like Cable TV! Internet TV is the new Cable TV where they can trap us into paying high fees for controlled services. We Believe More Than Ever we can offer a better, more flexible service with more options at a much lower cost than the big guys, Our overhead and our need for large profit margins are just not our primary focus - fair pricing and great services are! |
